February 12th met with unexpected Batray bite for this time of the year. Landed four batrays respective wingspan's: 20", 26", 27" and 31". Fifth batray broke my leader. All the rays were released. Along with the ray bite, I caught:
5 Thornback Rays
3 Jacksmelt
2 Yellowfin croaker
1 Barracuda (short)
1 Queenfish
1 crab
Fish caught with anchovy, shrimp and squid.
Steady Jacksmelt and Yellowfin Croaker bite around the pier. Several fishermen catching these fish.
