The Fish and Game Commission is again looking into establishing a slot limit for striped bass. A previous proposal suggested a 20-30 inch slot. But it seems that a 18-30 Harvest Slot Limit is being recommended. A Regulation Adoption Hearing is scheduled for Oct. 8th to be followed by the FGC meeting regarding an anticipated effective date for the changes in January 2026.
