Fished Russian Gulch Beach (in Sonoma Coast State Park just north of Jenner -- not to be confused with Russian Gulch State Park, North of Mendocino Bay) on Friday, 8/28. Caught 15 surf perch to 11". Mostly walleye and red-tails, but I did bring in one spectacular striped sea perch as well. Caught 6 on a Hi/Lo rig and 9 on the Carolina set up with 2oz sinker and Gulp 2" sand worm-"blood" color. There is lots and lots of easy access to good fishing beaches in this park. Fall can be a great time to fish the North Coast. Get out and get bit!
