some small stripers showing up in my area. i'm getting bored of the lake and the water levels going down are disheartening. So in the Straits of Solano county i think I figured out a shore spot using a fly fishing/jigging technique for the rapidly moving water and started nailing some small stripers. Saturday though I was lucky to get a barely legal and a slightly bigger one, which I took home.
I was bleeding the first one in the net when I hooked the second one, had to use the net and fish to net the second one haha. The smaller one fought harder than the second one. The second one had a belly full of grass shrimp and someone's cut bait, lol

overall its a tiny bite. no use driving here when you probably have the same fish or more in your parts. salmon started this day too, but its way to early too.
