What, no Pile Perch, Walleyed Surf Perch, Barred Surfperch, Striped Bass, Mullet, Barracuda, Giant Squid, Mako/Blue/Thresher/Leopard Sharks, Yellowfin Tuna, Bat Rays, Round Stingrays, Butterfly Rays, Thornbacks, Jacksmelt, Grunion….Balboa Pier is amazing…

I’ve seen all those except the giant squid and yellowfin. Yellowtail i have seen, never seen or heard of a YFT though! I need to aim higher!

Giant Humboldt squid have been caught there but no yellowfin tuna.

It seems like Balboa kicks out some amazing fish. I have only had the pleasure of fishing it twice and only caught a few macks. I hope the future is bright.
