Snookie lands a new species...

I got a note from Snookie that she landed a new species yesterday at the Balboa Pier, a 34-inch banded guitarfish. It's the first one she has seen at the pier and she landed it on a live lizardfish. She released the fish after capture; said it didn't have as thick a tail (think meat) as a typical shovelnose guitarfish.

Snookie knows how to fish around Balboa pier ! 👍

I fished Balboa pier on superbowl weekend, Friday thru Sunday. I caught six Thornbacks and one Sardine! 😂

Awesome catch Snookie! Happy to know fish was released.
