Had a great time today with Snookie (the Queen of the Balboa Pier) and her gang at the Balboa Pier. They meet at the pier every Tuesday and Thursday and I try to visit the group at least once a year (it's the very least I can do since she's given me a fishing report every month since 1997). The fishing was slow, only one halibut landed, but Bob Geis joined us from Carlsbad and there was the sharing of MANY stories. I knew Snookie was older than me but I didn't realize she will 90 in July (she certainly doesn't look or act it). Have to make it back down for her birthday! I will post more pictures later.
