Snelling your own baitholder hooks

Anyone have any tips for snelling baitholders? Especially on the smaller sizes, it seems almost impossible to do this without nicking the line on the shank barbs.

I would use a small vise to hold it on place and do a Uni snell knot.

I hold the loops as I wrap them, so they don't have to be pulled over the barbs.
