Whatever you celebrate...Happy Holidays! I believe I was (35) when I started searching this website for the first time. I remember there was an Asian dude on Port View Park Pier, Oakland, and he said, "Are you on the Internet?" "Look up Pier Fishing in California for a lot of information." I've been on here ever since and have become friends with the author Ken Jones and many, many fishermen via PFIC over all those years. Today is the birthday of (2) departed PFIC friends, Brian Linebarger and Richard Emerson McIntosh. Brian would always host an annual sturgeon get-together at this time of year in the S.F. Bay Area to celebrate their birthdays and the holiday season. I will be toasting them along with other departed friends this evening ...as I have become The Old Man & the Sea at 60.

Missing those guys as well as yourself. Hopefully once I am moved I can make a trip back up there. Ken
