Fished SB pier on February 21 and 24. Caught Thornbacks, Jacksmelt and a ton of purple starfish. Multiple double hook ups on hi/lo rigs of starfish! Overall fish bite was slow up and down the pier. Pleasant surprise was Warden walking the pier at 7:00 a.m. and checking catches. He was a nice friendly guy answered lots of questions about legal size for various types of fish and keep limits. Glad to see him on patrol. 👍
