Grateful to get in another morning of fishing before the rains set in.
Seasonal slow bite, was expected. But managed to catch the following fish:
3 Jacksmelt
2 Scorpionfish ( 14 and 13 inches)
2 Thornbacks
1 Sandbass (short)
Handful of Topsmelt for bait.
The 14 inch Scorpionfish hit a live smelt on a fish finder setup. The 13 inch Scorpionfish hit cut anchovy on a high/low setup.
The Jacksmelt were caught with cut anchovy on high/low setup.
A regular fisherman who targets Jacksmelt, caught a bucketful using a sabiki tipped with shrimp.
