Steady productive morning on the pier for Queenfish and Walleye Perch. Nice bite for several fishermen along midpoint of pier.

My tally was a mixed bag.

15 Queenfish
1 Walleye Perch
1 Lizardfish
3 Salema
2 Thornback Rays
1 Batray
1 Butterfly Ray

The Butterfly Ray was a pleasant surprise. It hit a live Queenfish. The wingspan was 23 inches. Largest Butterfly Ray that I have caught. First one at SB pier.

Only "downside" of the morning. One fisherman decided to urinate next to a trash can, with numerous people including children, walking on the pier. The character got a scolding from a local fisherman. Crazy times!

Good luck everyone!

You did a lot better than I did. The pier was pretty much dead the day I was there.
