Does this pier now close at 10pm for fishing? Or just the shops on it? Google says open 24 hours but the FAQ on the website says closes at 10pm.

Thanks

It has been a long time that I have been there, but then pier was open 24hrs. Shops and restaurants closed.

Perhaps a call to pier management, or the police dept. on the pier can be more helpful.

After putting in some thought I'm going to be going to San Clemente most likely instead. I just don't want to have to deal with the potential masses of people that all of the shopping, amusement, etc, may entice to the pier.

I will be there (San Clemente pier) around noon, give or take. Stop by if you like.

Weekday as well as school day, should see some tourist and not big crowds.

I will start past the Lifeguard tower, then move to the end.

Unfortunately my work does not recognize the need for mental health days... and fishing isn't considered an emergency
leave reason. Have fun and hope you catch some good ones!

We never made it.

After a delicious Turkish lunch at G.G.’s in Laguna Beach on the way to San Clemente, my wife started to experience very fast heart beat. She wanted to go home. I did not mind it.

It was too hot, at Belmont, it was 100 degrees.
