San Clemente State Beach, 6/25

Walked about 1/2 to 3/4 mile down the beach from the steep trail down from the parking lot. Cast over and over, with
pretty much each retrieve pulling in anywhere from 1 to 3 lbs of various sea foliage... kelp, eel grass, bull kelp, you name
it. In the end went back to the camp site, opened a beer, and shortly thereafter took a nice little siesta where I caught
quite a few nice sized ZZzzz's.

Too bad on the grass but a trip to the beach is never a waste of time. Thanks for the report.

I've been through those days. Grinding through hours of kelp and end up just kicking back with food. Better luck next time.
