San Clemente Pier - Surprise Catches!

Enjoyed a steady Yellowfin Croaker bite this morning. Fishing with a shrimp tipped sabiki rig when much to my surprise, a Yellowtail hit! Landed a 14 inch Yellowtail. About thirty minutes later I got a double hook up on the sabiki - a Jacksmelt and a Bonito. Crazy! Took home a 10 fish limit for the croakers.

My first Yellowtail. Never thought it would occur on a pier. Several tries on a boat around Catalina Island without success.
