Beautiful morning on the pier and that's about it! 
Fishing very slow. Did catch several Topsmelt, Walleye and Shiner perch with shrimp tipped sabiki.
Got a hit with one live smelt and one live perch. Did not see either fish, lost both in weeds and or structure. So they are just a fish story and eventually a faded memory.
Including myself, there was a total of six fishermen this morning. I checked in with a few and no one reported catching any fish. Still nice to be on the pier in great weather.
