Right-eyed and left-eyed flatfish.

What is a right eyed or left eyed flatfish? When you lay them flat with the eyes on top they will be pointing right (so a right eyed flatfish) or pointing left (or a left eyed flatfish). That's one of the first things to look at although a few fish, like California halibut will see almost 50% being right eyed and 50% left eyed (which is unusual).
