Is there a way to get fish to extend their fins for pictures, without causing them undue stress? In most of my pictures, their fins are at least partially folded, making identification of new fish more difficult.
I've seen people just hold up the dorsal fin with their fingers, which seems to work OK. But I'm also curious to hear if anybody has an actual technique.
