Went to the pier at 11, fisher until 5. Got there at peak low tide and fished a small sabiki and a jacksmelt rig. Caught a couple small perch in n the front of the pier, just beyond the striper fishermen. Caught a jacksmelt with a bite taken out of its back around 1, and changed to fishing for croaker at around 3. Saw some guy’s rod get pulled into the water when he was fishing for croaker.(Striper?) Ended the day with 5 jacksmelt and one white croaker. Saw a few people with crabs and one striper on a live shiner when I was there. No pics, only remembered to make a report after I had eaten the fish.
