I found this picture today. I caught six Calico bass on a Sabiki rig at Oceanside pier a few years ago. First time I've ever filled up a Sabiki, especially with Calico's.
When I felt the hit and hook up. I gave the rod to my wife so she could land the "fish". She was struggling a little too much so I took over and realized the stringer of fish.
Maybe this summer I can match this experience. Hope some members will get just as lucky!

P. S. All the Calico's were short and released unharmed. They should be legal size by now.
