Hi first time poster but long time fisher
Wanted to see if I could hit some surf perch this weekend. I wanted to beat the crowds so the afternoon high tide wasn't an option. Low tide was at 0830 for 9/5 and 0850 on 9/6. Fished a high-low rig but would switch to a fish finder rig with sandcrabs and Gulp Sandworms. There was a man digging pile worms up and was he nice enough to give me one. A couple of nibbles on both days but no takers on both days. Saw some other fishermen along the beach but no luck for them as well, may try further down Ocean Beach toward the zoo the rest of the week.
Anyone having any luck along Ocean Beach?
