Finally finished grinding through finals with 6 classes, and I’m planning to go out on oyster point this week. Anyone know what’s been biting and what’s around? Definitely need a break from all the online classes.

Stripers in Sonoma creek by the bridge and scattered over San Pablo bay.

Sturgeon starting to be caught at Mcnears and in boats near Dumbarton.

Large grade perch (black and rubberlip) at elephant rock.

No sign of herring yet in the north bay.

I have mainly been in the boat catching stripers on shrimp baits at the shell bank & pumphouse. No sturgeon yet but we just started getting rain.

I recommend getting on fishbrain for latest updates. Many people on here don’t like it but it’s a great tool. See attached for some of the recent perch catches from elephant rock, it looks like they are there in good numbers atm. I haven’t fished oyster point in quite sometime but all of the recent fishbrain action looks to be leopards and sevengills (mainly at night).

Oyster Point has been seeing some leopard and 7 Gill Sharks. I am sure there are some perch closer in on the pier if you are looking for those. You never know, you could get some winter striper along there on small 3” swim baits along the rocks to Genentech.
