Sandy, my daughter, got a 30 inch 10 pound halibut on her first bait Tuesday. We were all using Spanish Mackerel and it hit right away. I found it hard to believe that her fish was exactly the same size as mine last week. It was the only big halibut caught that day as was mine. We later caught a Horn Shark about 3 feet long. We both caught him as he took both our baits at the same time. That is a weird fish. By the way the "horns" are poisonous like a sculpin. No we did not touch them. There were some nice bonitos caught throughout the day as well.
