Few months ago I purchased some Hurricane High/Low rigs through Amazon. I was a bit disappointed when I received the product. There was quite a bit of open space between the two dropper loops. I used the rigs and caught fish but, the large open space between the dropper loops bugged me. So I created a third dropper loop in the center. Hence a modified High/Low rig. I used this set up on Wednesday at Pier J. The fishing was slow then the Jacksmelt came around at 10:00 a.m. Run lasted until 11:30. During the run I had a triple and two double hook ups of JS. Caught and released 15 JS. Fish bit on cut anchovy, squid and mackerel. Overall a fun and relaxing morning of fishing.
