Anyone tapped into the mackerel fishing at the Santa Cruz Wharf? I've recently moved here from the SF bay and have been targeting them. Gotten both kinds over the last couple weeks but not in big numbers. I'll be out tomorrow morning from sunrise until 10 when they start charging for parking shoot me a message! Also- Can anyone (Robert/Redfish looking at you) verify reports of WSB in the Alameda channel? Honestly I have been feeling much like Glen aka the Happy Wanderer about this site recently but would love it if we posted more.
P.S. check out these idiots touching the sea lions. Nobody was saying anything so I yelled at them and called the marine mammal hotline. Definitely tourists but if you see them let them know they aren't welcome if they harass wildlife.
