Just an introduction!

Hello!
I fish everyday practically! I also run a popular Facebook grroup called "California Pier Fishing" where I personally do local fishing reports & pier reviews for both freshwater & saltwater! Come join!
I love shark fishing & fishing for anything that bites! I have been known to use unusual baits such as broccoli, noodles or even a rubber glove for a bobber when sabiki fishing in my constant search for the perfect technique!
Ken Jones has been a huge inspiration for me & starting "California Pier Fishing". I always check out his thoughts on piers before I visit them! I am honored to be a part of this site & hope oneday to meet Ken Jones!
Thank you!

Hi!

Shark fishing for me is mostly kick back time. They're fun to catch with friends but I mostly return them.

I once met Ken at Long Beach Fred Hall fishing show. Didn't have a proper introduction because I was to busy doing other peoples stuff. My older brother got to have a conversation with him. I was even planning on buying the book directly from him too but that never happened.

Welcome aboard MsCannaBass, hope we can get together some day (and we will). Been looking for a reporter in the Bay Area for some time and perhaps we can figure out a way for you to provide the reports for that area.

Mav — We are considering starting up a number of PFIC Get Togethers throughout the state. Just need people to coordinate the events in the different areas. We had a number of such events in the early days and they were well attended and a LOT of fun.

hi

there used to be tons of small sharks in the bay back in the late 80's. little brown ones, grey ones, and leopards. about 24 inches long. catch them all day on cut bait. now gone.
