I believe it was supposed to open on the 15th of December and I don't believe it has? I fished on the Oakland side last Sunday at John Sutter Observation Point Pier.

Also, a reminder that the sturgeon closure is on now through and including March 15 inside the Golden Gate, Bay, and Richmond San Rafael Bridges for those that pursue sturgeon.

I think there needs to be more rain and herring migration for sturgeon to take off in the SF Bay and Southbay. From shore, I have heard of fish in Sonoma Creek and also from Antioch with a couple scattered from there west to east. I drew a skunk at Eckley Pier (3) days ago (and saw a PFICer out there too).
