Started the day off as usual with another 14 hour grind catching baby smelt and nothing else. Had a moray eel from last night from someone else and decided to soak that all day. 1st run took off and spit, 2nd one hooked.
Here is the photos/videos, I did not measure it but it goes 8/ almost 9 planks long and a photo of someone laying next to it.
Picked me up for 15-20 mins and i let him run and i pumped it back and it went straight to the left side where the pilings... Horsed him out and had to get a gaff into him in the risky spot, had to sever the head in order to lift it on through the coin pilings. Very very dangerous.....
The last one I ever saw picked up was 2023 by danny.
