Caught this fish at Seal Beach pier this morning. Fish hit a,whole frozen anchovy. It measured 11 inches. Is this a Brown rockfish?

California Scorpionfish. Legal size too if it was 11 inches.

Thank you Ken. This is the first brown Scorpionfish I have caught. Past catches have been in the red color pattern. The brown coloration confused me!
