Halibut - top and bottom.

Was reading an article on eating eastern flounder that said the "dark" or "top" side is thicker and more moist, while the "white" or "bottom" side is thinner and has a milder flavor. I can see the dark, top side of a halibut being thicker but never really noticed a difference in how fillets from the top or bottom differed in taste. Anyone see a difference?

The taste difference may be from people over cooking the thinner side. I never noticed a flavor difference personally.
