Got a note from our Balboa Pier reporter Snookie that a great white was cruising around the pier Tuesday when she and her crew were fishing the pier.
Hi Ken, Tuesday about midday a great white shark decided to pay us a visit. It swam against the pier from the deep end to the surf. We all got to see it. It was on the surface. He was about 10 feet long. Just long enough to be a "taster" type. What a beautiful sight! No one was in the water at that time so all was safe. There were a lot of sardines around so that may have been his interest. Looking forward to your visit. Snookie
