FRS-4A $36.47 (1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and 1 Oz.) ordered from Barlow's Tackle. $3.45 for a pack of 25 wire forms.
I was worried about the price of those wire forms...YIKES.......

That is exactly the Mold I was looking at though

You can try holographic Fingernail Foils in conjunction with 3M Type 77 Spray Adhesive........I also have a lint to some good looking and CHEAP lure eyes......but those jigs might need better ones......also have links to the nail foils if you want to experiment

Thanks for your suggestion. I don't have nail foil, but I do have a bunch of other foils. I might try hot stamping over the aluminum foil to see how it goes. The reason for the aluminum duct foil is I plan to make mackerel and anchovy pattern. As for the wire form, you can buy a roll of stainless steel wire and make it yourself. I don't intend sell any of these, just make enough for me and my fishing buddies.

That would be my purpose for getting that mold as well.......hot stamping would be great.......you can use an iron in a pinch..... just not sure what to use as a pad

Thanks for the link. Very tempting to buy. As for hot stamping pad, I don't know where to find that thick of silicone pad either. I'm thinking of putting some cooked rice in plastic wrap, microwave it and slap it on. I don't know if that works, but I'll try.

I found this:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072FPTF7G/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A14YM892528UG&psc=1

I'm ordering one now to try it out. It takes quite a bit of searching to find it.
NICE.......that might not be thick enough.....you might want to cut it so you have 2 thicknesses........From what I have seen on Youtube.....You use the iron to heat up the pad.......if you want to do both sides of the lure at the same time use 2 irons...........pad, foil, lure, foil, pad, PRESS........some people are keeping pressure for quite a while ......... like 30 seconds

Yup.....Looks like I have to buy another mold.........But I would have to figure out my own wire forms........the ready made ones.......too expensive.......and most importantly......not locally available

Heating the rice in saran wrap and place over the transfer did not work. Although the rice was very hot, the film did not transfer. I then use contact cement on both the lure and the foil and it transfer fine, no heating required. It took a couple of tries to get it right. I have to wait about 3 minutes for the glue to dry to a tacky finish before sticking the foil and lure together. Once they are stick together, I lightly press it down with soft foam. Then I peel the top layer out. The transfer doesn't look smooth because of previous attempts. There are glue lumps that are hard to remove. I use a piece of foam cutout to apply the glue, to give it an even coating.

I am experimenting with using 3M type 77 Spray Adhesive and starting to get good results....my results are better with a coat od appliance epoxy spray paint down first.......With your heat transfer foil you need to use an iron to heat the pad and then you quickly put down the foil....the lure.....then you press down hard with another pad and keep pressure for 30 seconds or so.......

One of these days I still want to put together a GET TOGETHER for pier rats where people bring their lead molds, lead, eyelets, and lure making supplies and we spend a day casting fishing weights and making lures......I think it would be a BLAST

You really need to try these nail foils.....Great to play with for the price and you can make a lot of lures.......and no heat needed....just spray adhesive
