As you know I was going in for triple bypass surgery last Thursday. The operation went well and I came home yesterday only three days after the operation. They said it’s normally a 4-6 day recovery period but I apparently I had one of the fastest recoveries they’ve seen for someone my age. However, it is only part of the journey. Hopefully I will be able to do some of the normal things in three weeks or so, more things in six weeks, and if everything goes well I can be back fishing by January. In the meantime I can continue to post old pictures and old articles. Thank you all for your prayers and best wishes, it helped. Meanwhile, continued good fishing and hope to see you on the piers in January..

Take it easy and don't push it. The bones in your sternum need to heal! But afterwards you should have more energy than you have
had in years!
