A quick report

I fished off the harbor rock wall at Noyo yesterday for a couple hours. I had no action on swim baits and later shrimp on a Hi Lo from the tip to the parking lot. Most people were trying for crabs with snares and I saw one nearly six inch red rock crab landed but mostly nothing. Another two friendly anglers had a nice flurry around 1 pm that lasted about twenty minutes. They landed 5 nice striped sea perch and an undersize greenling fishing shrimp, then the bite stopped. I also checked out Mackerricher park near the tide pool area. Again, most people were after crab but I saw one angler catch a perch. All in all, a great day but slow angling.
good luck all

Thanks for the report. I fished Noyo and MacKerricker some years ago with my old friend from this board that passed away. We didn’t have any success, but views were beautiful.
