-Ken arrived in the SF Bay Area this evening for three days and I wanted to hook up with him before he goes back home. I told him today (Sunday) would be the best for me because it is a day of the least amount of traffic traveling to the city.
-We were trying to figure out a place for some shark fishing and met at Sierra Park Pier by Candlestick right about 7pm. Good thing it was the 1st day of Daylight Savings Time, as it gave us a little extra time to meet before it went completely dark.
-Sierra Park might be a good place if you have a good set of battery powered lights as there are no lights on the pier itself, only the parking lot and the base of the pier. So, since we had no lights, we proceeded to Oyster Point Pier where we fished until the close at 10pm.
-A guy on the pier was talking about it was not a good day as there was low barometric pressure, and I believe that, as we did not get a scratch with smelt, squid and perch as bait.
-However, the pier is in good shape, with good lighting and amenities like a lighted fish cleaning station and well lit, clean his and hers bathrooms. 32EE6501-DE6A-400F-BCC6-A5452752B39F.jpeg
