Hit the pier running this morning. Met with lots of fog. But, not a problem. Excited to wet the lines for the first time in the new year.
Used a live Topsmelt to catch and release a 17 inch Cabezon. My PB!
Tally for the morning was:
2 Thornback Rays.
2 Topsmelt.
1 Short Sandbass.
1 Cabezon.
Some other fisherman targeting Queenfish and catching 2 or 3 at a time. Run lasted about 1 hour.
