FYI.......I just spent the last HOUR sorting all my fishing sinkers by type and weight......

I have to do my ROD BLANKS Next
I do that some nights. I also sort hooks, jigs, and plastics too. Most of my blanks are already in tubes.

I was bad though. I bought me another lefty Shimano low pro bass reel because of the ultra light size. I still need to get that spinning reel replacement too.

Amazon makes it too easy.

I found these waterproof cases at WalMart.......Each one fits 4 Small Plastic Storage Boxes I found in the Craft Section.........I am using then to organize hooks, split rings, swivels, small lures, beads.........Really helps keeping things organized.......Use other WalMart storage Boxes to sort all my fishing weights by type and weight.......Since I make most of my weight.......I have a lot to sort

Hey, you know them crayon boxes? They are perfect for storing plastics. Made of the same stuff as tackle boxes so they don’t “melt”. Regular price is .99 but you can get them a little cheaper during back to school sales.

"DSRTEGL" Are you a lefty? I have a pair of Tica Caiman Striper L201's I'm looking to get rid of. Since I'm not a lefty I just can't see keeping them. Let me know if you're interested, they're in excellent shape and literally only used a few times each.

A long time ago I took Home Economics in high school. I learned to make myself some reel bags with the sewing skills I learned. (y)

Yup...you are a fellow old fart if Home Ec was still taught in schools.......I took basic sewing knowledge and ran with it to the point I can make my own patterns, recycle fabrics and even sew leather

I believe that cheapness leads to ingenuity, and because of that, I had quickly learned to sew off of 2 YouTube videos to sloppily fix 2 gaping holes in my old school backpack that I now put my tackle box in. It holds up, considering how bad it looks on the inside. It’s too bad that home economics isn’t really a class that is offered anymore, don’t see it on my old school’s class selection.

It’s one of the first skills I had learned besides cooking. Got to know how to cook your fish. Auto repair came later.

Hey, as long as it works, you’re good.

Yea, it blew my mind that Drivers ED is no longer offered in high school. It’s no wonder people don’t know how to drive these days. I can count at least 5 solid red lights every day that random people run. I remember if you got more than 3 wrong in the written test, you’d have to retake it.

Lol I’ve done that before. “Lost” a few reels, an 8’ Lamiglas rod, and a 7’ Lews rod. One hour before I decided to click Buy.

Some reels that I actually wanted to try out were those bootlegged Calcutta’s. Lol They were in the same $ range as the reels you wanted but got snatched up real quick.

They DO look very much like those. Hmm

I was reading the caption and they were talking about making filtration systems. I’ve seen people make filtration systems out of plastic bin drawers. Interesting stuff.
