Just reposting in response to a question about what would be allowed on the Catalina ferry.

I will defer to Hashem as to which of these would probably not pass the "Catalina Express" test.

With exception of the cart that Skipper uses, none of the of the ones with more than two wheels will be allowed.

The folding four-wheel carts will be allowed, provided they are empty and folded.

I saw a good one a few years ago. An Ice Chest on the seat of a Walker with Two mounted Rod Holders. The Ice Chest had Tackle and Ice and a Box of 1 Quart Zip Locks and a Fillet knife. Perfect.

Many daily anglers who go there, use large coolers with two wheels.
They also take two-piece 10/12 ft. rods and a couple of buckets.
One small with rope for getting sea water, one 5 gal one for bleeding the bonito.
Some bring ice, some buy it on the island.
My cart becomes a worktable for making rigs and eating food, etc.
