Computers and advice...

My "T" was sticking on my keyboard so I took a look at Google and a YouTube video said no problem. Drop some alcohol into the key causing the problem, tap the key a few times, turn it over and tap the keys again a few times. Then leave it upside down to dry. I thought I followed his advice but in the process somehow fried my keyboard (or the connection ( so didn't have access to my computer for a day. Went to the Apple store this morning, got a new keyboard, and told them the story. They said always check Apple Support first (which I normally do), it would have explained what to do. Be careful what advice you trust.

Actually I think that is what started the problem. I hit it with compressed air last week and I think l I forced something under the key. Then in trying to remove it I really screwed it up.

Dohhh.

Not sure about yours, but mine can be disassembled from the back.

Not sure if you want to take a chance, but I figure it is a lost cause, so why not chance it.

No, this one could not be disassembled from the back. I have received several notes saying not to shoot them with the compressed air.
