End of month style, when your wallet’s running on dry, or when you’re too cheap to lose another lure to the ocean. Here’s one made with a soda can bottom buffed a little and with a hook attached to it. Let’s post some pics.

I use Soda Can Bottoms to make my spinner blades......the steel beer cans work even better

Do you rig it Carolina style? Looks a little light to cast.

I’m not sure, haven’t really used it seriously yet, but it should work Carolina rigged. Might be good for perch in surf.

You can take thin lead sheeting.....cut it to shape....spray it with contact cement........and form it to the inside of the spoon for increased casting weight......and when I make my spinner blades from cans I polish them to a mirror polish with my vibrating tumbler.......or they can be painted

Wow that’s neat. I tried doing that once before but it didn’t turn out as nice.

Like I said earlier.....If you can find the STEEL cans......they work REALLY well......But these days I usually just use stainless steel sheet, brass sheet, or silverware from WalMart or the thrift store.....

I think the Sapporo cans are steel, but it might be too thin, and it doesn’t have that curve you get from aluminum can bottoms.

You use a ball peen hammer and a leather pad to hammer form the shape.
