late post but went Monday to Newport to catch Macks and then went Tuesday to Bolsa Chica to do some Sharkin got there and conditions where perfect tide was high at 6 and i got there at 3 dolphins where 40 yards from shore birds active i knew it was going to be good. Hooked in to a small bat ray gave him a kiss and sent him away i wanted to keep him for some 7 gill fishing later but decided since it was my first for the year i let him good then hooked in to anther a bit bigger also released all in all a good day on the sand again sorry for the late post.
