Balboa Pier Sunday Sep 8

Not much action at Balboa today. Got there about 7:30am til about 1pm. Smelt everywhere, i caught some and set one out on a slider, no takers. Friend of mine soaked a 3” baby mac on a fly line, no takers. Saw very few little macs caught here and there. Bad day fishing but beautiful day out there.
Was hoping bonito would show up, a few other guys hoping the same, i three out my feather splasher anyway for a bit with zero results. Sabiki wasnt even working unless tipped with chunk ed macs. Hopefully this gets better soon!

No Hasheem she wasn't there. I was in Hawaii. I just got back last night. Going fishing tomorrow.

Didnt see snookie, but i believe one of her friends/relatives maybe? I think a younger lady that usually hangs out with snookie? Not totally sure. But she said she managed 1 halibut all day and it was a shortie. Most fisherman left the pier around 11-12 noon as it was dead.
