Been going through 20+ years of monthly fishing reports and PFIC Message Board posts and Seal Breach is a pier that seems on the surface to show far less fish than years ago. I do not know if that's true or it's more due to the monthly fishing reports I get from Big Fish. When the bait shop was on the pier the people really knew what was going on and especially noted any large or unusual fish. I don't see that anymore but as said it may simply be due to the fact they are not out there really seeing what's going on.
There's a huge difference from having a bait shop on the pier, i.e., Oceanside, or a regular who's a reporter, i.e., Snookie at Balboa, than reports from bait and tackle shops off the pier.
