[Red Fish]

First major spawn with smaller ones within the last month in Tiburon, Sausalito and Alameda. The Bay Bridge spawn is usually major lasting at much as 4 days some years.

The major spawn is along the south tower of the Bay Bridge with the Chase Center, Mc Covey Cove/ Pier 52 and Agua Vista all areas of concentrated herring spawn.

Perhaps this particular school with head south to Candlestick, Oyster, and Coyote Point.

Nothing at Agua Vista park time 12:40pm 1/24/2021. Yesterday was an awesome spawn.

Just a little advice for those loading up on these fish. Try to avoid waste. Just bring home what you will use. When the fish are thick in an area and all it takes is couple of tosses to fill a bucket, it can be too easy to let greed get the better of us. Been there, done that.

There is also a limit this year for the first time. DF&W c 2860 c2862 10 gallons herring / 25# herring eggs.
