Got another keeper halibut Tuesday. It was a very fat 22 inches and I caught it on a lizard fish. We did have lots of smelt and herring also and I did catch quite a few smaller halibut. My daughter who is visiting me from Virginia also caught four smaller ones. We both had some that were 19 and 20 inches There were some small White Sea bass in the morning. It was a good day on Balboa Pier again. We were the only ones that caught halibut.
