I ALWAYS say BE CAREFUL if you catch an angel shark.

Was just talking to Ben Miller who runs the Hook, Line & Sinker bait/tackle shop in Santa Barbara and he mentioned that several angel sharks had been caught recently at the Goleta Pier. He also said one of the guys and the guy's brother caught one but didn't know much about the angels and, as angel shark's have a propensity to do, when they thought it was pretty much done it twisted around and clamped on to one guy's foot. Luckily, he was wearing thick boots and it grabbed the thickest part of the boot by the heel and only inflicted damage to the boot and not to the foot itself. But it was a scary moment (they have BIG teeth). Be wary of angels, at least angel sharks.
