Angel Shark

Caught my first Angel shark! A nice 42 inches at Seal Beach. Shark hit a lizardfish. After some photos shark was released.

I did some research and was surprised there is a minimum size limit for male and female Angel sharks. 40 inches for a male, 42 inches for a female.

The species is on a conservation watch list.

Hopefully, I will get lucky again and catch another one. Good luck everyone!
