#1
Welp my boat is ready to go out, new tags, new belts, fresh gas. i just git back from my mexico vacation.
so im eager to go out.

Dec 18th and Dec 25th yeah that xmas. be home by 4 pm.

planning on going to the breakwall, which i call the yellow bouy inside long beach harbor.

have a few slots for some fishing. just come on out and go fishing. i can take 4 people comfortably. i know one friend of mine is going. so 3 slot left for the 18th
lobster traps is optional if you have a lobster card.

so hit me up if you like to come out, i dont talk much when fishing. so its pretty quiet on the boat. ask mahigeer! heheheh

til then, tight lines guys.

if anyone does come, its BYOD&S, bring your own drinks and snacks.

bait is your preference, ill have frozen anchovies, we could get live bait, that will cost the group. average 45$ for live bait.

You could also sabiki up some live bait by jigging if you mark a bait ball. Good luck David!

true redfish, but even they are biting that much. catch a few big grunions and some mackerals, the last few times i went out. one day we caught 3 30 pounds mud marlins, i guess a school went by. but that was it, i was hoping for some barracuda inside the breakwall, but no luck, a few small calicos hit my lure scampi lure white, but nothing big stayed out 4-6 hours by the breakwall, i hate moving around to much because when you fish your guessing fish will be there, unless you know spots to goto, otherwise its a lottery. but i try to be optimistic. heheheh

well guys have a good holiday.

Nobody chimed in yet.

yes, but fish finder rarely helps, when the water is cold they tend to move around more. but yes i do have one, its just the radar put in more sensitive mode. in reality a fish finder doesnt coax a fish to bite, heheheh.

im hoping next year will be more fruitful, and gas price goes down a bit.. went 5 times to catalina and even divers caught nothing. they saw some black sea bass under the boat got video of that but no yellows or barracuda, like they all disappeared.

Hi a fish finder sonar is best used as a structure locater , drifting along the breakwater is a good way to catch Halibut . Arcadian that is a very nice invite on your boat generous, good luck
