Been Wanting to do this for a while but just never had the time.........Needed to strengthen my design and improve the gaskets for better suction.......Why 2 1/2" ID you ask?..........Because you can use a tennis ball as a gasket.......My Main pump has a tennis ball MAIN Gasket.....I added a 1" Thick Silicone Rubber Gasket above it........As it stands it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to pump this sucker......Pardon the pun......But one it is oiled up and broken in......It should be a real beast........Not good for just shrimp either......I regularly pump Washington and Horse neck clams with these pumps.....Pics to follow........
