Took my daughter to Ruby’s on the balboa pier tonight. We are not fishing. But for anyone interested the mackerel bite went wide open around 630 pm. Everybody is bringing them up 3 or 4 at a time on sabikis. Mostly smaller 6 to 14 inch ones. Hope this helps.

They are adding 2 small finger piers in Long Beach harbor in the Pier J area off S. Harbor Scenic Dr. Should be open in a few weeks.
